Career Goals

To provide therapeutic interventions, case management and advocacy for patients, caregivers and families. Assisting clients living with mental health conditions, substance abuse addictions, homelessness and/or involvement with the criminal justice system. Developing a comprehensive intake assessment, treatment plans and the impact of the social determinants of health.

I strive to make a difference in the lives of children and families through a client-centered, strength-based and holistic approach. I have extensive knowledge of relevant government legislation such as the Child and Family Services Act, Children’s Law Reform Act, Mental Health Act, Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA/Bill 118), Public Hospitals Act, Long Term Care Act, Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA), Ontario Human Rights Code and Youth Criminal Justice Act.

  • Intake risk assessments, harm reduction plans and the implementation of short and long term plans of care for seniors, children and families
  • Provided case management and advocacy on behalf of client
  • Provided Solution-Focused Brief Therapy and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy
